this was a long awaited first visit, a present from friends. We booked well in advance, and arrived a little early. The restaurant is beautiful inside, with amazing décor and lots of fairy lights, but very tastefully done. The staff were excellent, attentive and efficient....More

Decided to go during a visit to the Alnwick gardens. Unusual setting although surroundings may have more impact at night. Food ok and slightly more expensive. The tabouleh was the best dish with the fish cooked to perfection but the fish pie was disappointing as...More

A quirky option that will appeal to kids & grown ups alike, The Treehouse has a Robinson Crusoe feel & is approached by a cutesy rope walk. Trees grow through the floor & branches intertwined with twinkly lights thread around the restaurant. Tables are chunky...More

The treehouse is incredible to look at from the first time you see it. Even the photos don't do it justice. It looks amazing both inside and out. Make sure you do the outside walkways over the wobbly bridges - really part of the fun!...More

Description
The Treehouse is one of the most magical and unique restaurants to be found anywhere in the world. It’s high up in the treetops, with a roaring log fire in the centre of the room and trees growing through the floor. Most importantly, the locally-inspired food is delicious. Always featuring local fish and seafood, meats from Northumberland’s farmlands and other regional specialities, the Treehouse Restaurant menus highlight local quality, taste and change throughout the seasons. There’s a great wine list, a good range of beers and regular live music. For a family dining experience that you’ll all enjoy, a great night out with friends or a romantic dinner for two, there’s nowhere quite like it. We always recommend booking ahead for lunch or dinner.
