We stopped in here today for a cup of tea. The selection was fantastic, a real treat for tea enthusiasts. Our tea was great and we were served by a very friendly and helpful young lady. We also had a scone and it was the best scone I have ever had. A real gem of a place.

This is a really good tea shop, right at the end of Narrowgate as you head out of town. It is a specialist tea establishment with staff who clearly understand teas of the world and care about service. Food menu is limited but they do really nice soups, cakes and scones. We definitely recommend the place if you are looking... More

We were having a weekend away with friends and we decided to visit Alnwick for the day, en-route to our final destination. We were walking around looking for some where to have a drink and a snack when we came across the Bari Tea Brewery. We decided to go in and we were really glad we did! The lady was... More

Lovely little tea shop with quality tea in a very friendly atmosphere! The owner is very knowledgeable about tea and even provides a timer at your table so your cup of tea will be perfect!

Why is this place a quandary? Well I am not a tea drinker! Read on! Went in with my wife and one of my sons. My wife loved it. A huge collection of teas, a dinky little timer to see when the tea was ready - she was in heaven. My 14 year old had a 70% hot chocolate and... More

Popped in for a quick cuppa. It's designed for the tea aficionado, so if you are a coffee drinker you will have to settle for a filter coffee only [free refill though]. Dozens of teas to choose from, including various fruit teas. You can get to smell the leaves before deciding which tea to choose. I went for the Bari... More

We called in to this lovely little tea room. The scones were to die for but we watched in fascination as our flowering teas bloomed. The staff are friendly and there is a lovely atmosphere. A must for all tea lovers.

Whilst on a long, chilly and wet bike ride we called into this cafe for some sustenance. We had a pot of the breakfast tea and the four of us had pea and mint soup or roasted red pepper soup. All were excellent. The staff sre very friendly and attentive. Very much on my 'return visit' list.

We visited here after a long walk around Alnwick. The selection of loose leaf teas was brilliant, with little jars to smell to help your choice. The tea comes with a timer so it will be brewed for the optimal amount of time. The selection of cakes was also very good- we opted for lemon and it was fantastic. You... More
