Went with my son for a pint. We didn't eat but will go back for food. I loved the traditional English pub feel about the place. The beer was excellent so was the service and the craic.

Decided to eat out for a change and choose The Jolly Farmers as we knew the Landlord from a previous establishment where the food was always first class. Not disappointed at all, great food and really good value for money.

We always enjoy the food, drinks & atmosphere at The Jolly Farmers. Paul's decorated the pub in a traditional British countryside manner, which is great! Too many pubs look old on the outside, but have lost their character and been ruined by over modernisation inside....More

Description
A charming friendly local pub located close to Beacon Hill, and a short walk to Mount St Bernard Abbey. We offer a selection of real ales, with fine wine, a wide variety of ciders and whiskies. We are dog friendly (A selection of treats are kept behind the bar) and also child friendly, with a box of activities to keep them entertained.

We are afraid we no longer offer food, but we have a variety of cobs at the weekend and if you would like to organise an event then we can cater for your needs.
