Been several times for lunch, and it is always good food, good value and service is fine also. Do not expect exotic plates of food, but if you want good quality fare, with good portion sizes and cooked well, then it's worth going. They can manage special diets too, knowing what's in the food, and it's cooked fresh. Always busy,... More

Never been to Chadwicks before, so when my friend whose been numerous occasions suggested it, well I just had to go. Plenty of parking. The seating was pleasantly laid out, the restaurant was warm and cosy. We were seated at the window, able to watch the world go by. Within minutes the waitress was taking our order. Our drinks arrived... More

We have had breakfast on a number of occasions at Chadwicks and have always enjoyed it. The food is always of very good quality and cooked to your exact requirements. It can get quite busy at times so it is worth booking a table in advance.

Visited here while up on a visit from Birmingham last weekend . Called in for breakfast as didn't fancy the Premier Inn offerings. We weren't disappointed a full English breakfast expertly cooked and piping hot. Well worth a visit for breakfast at least . If we had been there for longer the rest of the menu looked good and competitively... More

Today was the second time I have been here in the past couple of weeks and both times I have enjoyed a lovely home made steak pie with 'proper' chips and peas. The menu is quite extensive and there is a gluten free and veggie menu too. I took a friend this time and she also was impressed and is... More

We decided to call in late afternoon for a light lunch, upon entering the premises I noticed that they had a butchers and deli counter which sold warm food. We went into the bistro and were promptly given a menu. We ordered drinks while we browsed the small menu. I ordered the hot beef sandwich with sweet potato wedges, my... More

Lots of quality homemade meals. Good meat & gorgeous homemade chips. Staff are all friendly and helpful. Deli is also nice but a bit pricey.

Called in here as the place we wanted to go to stopped serving food at 2pm, this happened to be on the way home. Typically poor choice for vegetarians; lacking thought or imagination. Had a cheese & onion sandwich (only veggie option in the sandwich choices), luckily I ordered a side of fries as the "side salad & coleslaw" was... More

Have been intending to try here for some time after driving past and always seeing it full at various times of the day. We arrived at 10am for Breakfast and the menu has varied Breakfast choices and one that I liked was make your own up which is basically choose as many or few items as you like. From ordering... We were recommended this emporium as a brilliant butchers shop then realised it was in fact what it says a food emporium. Had breakfast full English, best we have had then went into the shop fabulous display of fresh meat and cooked food . A big surprise only 20 minutes from home will go again. Lunch menu looked varied but... More
