Visited on a Sunday again for the £15 buffet deal. Good value with more than ample variety of starters and choices of main meal. Friends/family that join us are also very happy with the food and service. Friendly reception on arrival.

From entering the restaurant to leaving, the evening was brilliant. The restaurant was busy but not overcrowded and the layout of the dining areas with it's subdued lighting created a friendly, relaxed and quite intimate atmosphere. The food was great and couldn't be faulted. Superb...More

This has the potential to be an outstanding restaurant with the food and decor being a real treat. Regrettably the service is unacceptable. They have people to take the order, people to serve water, people to bring the food, people to take the plates. But...More

The Red Lantern opened in 2009, taking over from The Regent which had been there for 18 years. We are a family run restaurant serving authentic Cantonese food. Previuosly from "Charlie Chans" in Chinatown Manchester (which opened back in the 70s) we aim to serve Cantonese food in Burnley that is on a par with any Chinatown restaurant.
