Great place to relax and unwind with coffee, cake and a magazine. Window seat and Captain's Chair are our favourite spots. Hotchpotch of furniture, high benches and Art make this a quirky place to Chillax!

Lovely sandwich lunch here yesterday. I can recommend the Brie and apple sandwich! The food was freshly prepared and served in good time. Seating is rather cramped downstairs but it was our choice to sit in the window. there was a sign saying that there was further seating upstairs

Oddly shaped premises with quirky set out of seating. Staff seem a little indifferent but the food is made before your very eyes - hence I guess the wait - and is of good quality.

I was shopping with a friend and my daughter in Whitstable and came across this quaint little tea room.It looked very busy inside and could only see stalls at the bar and only a couple of tables, I thought there might not be any places to sit. However, upstairs there was more seating. The food we were served was excellent,... More

If passing through whitstable, this place is a nice stop. I have been coming here for years with friends. Lovely family run cafe who always recognise us and serve us with a smile, and also often a young group of baristas/waiters who offer average service. Nice sandwiches and good milkshakes (a tradition amongst our friends since we were young) but... More

Myself and my partner stopped in here quickly for a coffee to get inside from the cold. We only had coffee's but the shop seemed relaxed and eclectic, delicious coffee and an open fire upstairs. Highly recommended for a quick coffee and a cake.

This used to be a great place to chill with friends, with good food. We went for breakfast and it took 3/4 hour for a small cooked breakfast. It was busy for early morning but it took 20 mins for a glass of water and cup of tea to arrive. No apologies and a real waste of valuable Sunday morning... More

Popped in for a coffee late in the afternoon. Great relaxed vibe and friendly staff. Oh and did I mention the best giant crumpets ever! Crispy and dripping in butter...is there any other way? The cakes looked amazing too, hopefully I'll try one next time.
