Went there during half terms for lunch. Great cafe, good choice of food, lovely selection of fresh soups, really good fresh bagels and sandwiches. Generally disappointed by most cafes in Cowes but this is great. We'll be back.

Yesterday walked on past C***a to find an independent coffee shop and Sails didn't disappoint. Huge tea cakes: tick, generous butter portions: tick, great mug of tea: tick. Liked it so much that we came back today to try the coffee: tick. Also dog friendly.

Visited today and so far not found anywhere on the island that does gluten and dairy free cake. So I had Victoria sponge (amazing!!) Husband had scones.

Really good cafe in the middle of Cowes. Simple menu - good home cooking. My dog makes a bee-line for Sails whether they are open or closed. It must be something to do with the plate of bacon scraps provided.

Thank you your generous and kind comments. We try really hard to provide a good service to all our customers (2 legged/4 legged - delete as necessary) and yes, we are normally closed on a Tuesday/Wednesday except during the holidays....but not next week as all...More
