Everything was first class , we are never disappointed here : the menu is varied and always beautifully cooked & presented. Fantastic attentive service. "A jewel" in the Islands crown.

Second visit here whilst sailing and during a quiet mid week evening had a fabulous three course meal, everything cooked to perfection and tasted and presented beautifully. The children shared fillet steak with pepper sauce, describing it as "epic" and wanted more. We will be back.

When I thought about a review of this restaurant I thought long and hard because I don't want this becoming too popular! I am aware how strange this sounds but with only 18 to 20 covers it has to stay a secret because the next time I want to eat there it will be full. I cannot stop thinking about... More

Recommended to us by Paula at OneFifty the B&B we stayed at, No 3 is excellent in every way starting with the welcome, the food and the service and the owner also ordered a taxi for us. Simple but splendid well priced menu. Good ambiance. Tucked away in a corner at the top of the High St it's well worth... More

Such a chilled out place, the lamb was exquisite and the hostess was an absolute darling. Highly recommended.

My Partner and I eat out on the island a lot. We must have walked past this place so many times without realising just what was hiding behind its small and unpretentious frontage. I can be a bit of a 'philistine' when it comes to food. I like to call my taste 'unpretentious'. My better half is more discerning...and this... More

We keep going back here whenever we sail over to Cowes. We have to, it's so good. It's a very small restaurant and booking is essential. Added to which we've told all our friends about it unfortunately, as I'm sure other diners have told theirs! The menu is small and always changing. Although the choice is limited we've never had... This is the first time we have used this little gem of a restaurant. On a cold New Year's Eve we were quickly welcomed to our table and invited to have a glass of Prosecco accompanied by a basket of different breads and a good olive oil and balsamic dip. The dinner began with a small cup of potato, garlic... More

Each serving kept coming wondering when it would stop but every course was cooked to perfection. Cod was superb and the venison was the best i have had. My wife and friends also had a great evening. Set us up lovely to drink in the new year. Only negative comment was the wait between a couple of courses we felt... More
