Hiked here and were a little behind schedule arriving so phoned and no problem. It was a warm day and the Wainwright was spot-on as a light and flavoursome first pint. Well kept real ale is a delight and this was definitely in this category....More

The Greyhound is a little gem in the village of Wigginton. The food is excellent with large portions and a great choice. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Sunday lunch is particularly busy, book in advance. They take party bookings as well.

This is an excellent, well run pub serving good food but why are they serving such huge portions? My Sunday roast would have fed two people and it was just overwhelming. We need to get pubs like this to think more about obesity and diabetes...More

Can't fault the buffet. It was awesome. The service from the pub was great. Would highly recommend a visit. We saw main menu food delivered into the pub garden area for other diners & the portions were very generous.
