Super meal, friendly staff and comfortable set-up. Choose off the A La Carte menu as the taster menu looked too much. Really wasn't disappointed, the memory of the duck and the blackberry ravioli will stay with me for a long time, absolutely delicious.

The Grove is a lavish, Elizabethan country house hote located just 40 minutes from London that used to be the historical home for the Earls of Clarendon. Tucked away inside this splendid setting is the discreet and elegant Colette's restaurant, which is renowned for its three AA rosette worthy cuisine by rising star Head Chef Russell Bateman and award-winning wine list. With views over Charlotte's Vale, the 18th century dining room at Colette's which was described by the hotel's architect Martin Hulbert as "groovy-grand" - has been restored with chic table settings, contemporary artworks and an understated vanilla and coffee colour scheme. Popular with chic city-dwellers and fashionable foreigners, Colette's has a modern European menu, and the restaurant regularly hosts wine evenings themed on iconic wine regions.
