Freezer failed so had to go out to Dinner! Service was relaxed but the chicken pie was very nice and my wife's risotto was 'one of the best'. Zinfandel was an interesting and full flavoured option. Bill was slow flow flow tho.

Absolutely amazing food & some really bubbly staff, always been one of those places you wait a while but well worth while. Complements to the chef!

Total last minute decision to eat at The White Lion, as our plans fell through. No problem getting a table on a fairly busy Easter Sunday. Staff were quiet but friendly. Atmosphere was cosy and comfortable. Food was good. Plenty of it. The roast is...More
