One of the best Burns Nights I've been to in a while, complete with Piper and descent single malt. What more could you want for on a bright moonlit night!

Food was good on the whole, not amazing but fine. My steak wasn't cooked as requested but still edible, the rest of the party thought their food was a tad bland but still okay. The venison was apparently very good. The service was my main issue, the gentlemen seemed over tired, bored and looked like they wanted to be anywhere... More

Nice atmosphere. We ate in the area just off reception. My friend had a delicious Arnold Bennett smoked haddock omelette and I had a selection of nibbles - 5 for £16 which was way too much for one person so took home a "doggy bag". Very polite and friendly service albeit a little slow. There's a great court yard to... More

As always our visit to the White Horse has been a delight! The waiters are very professional and the food is amazing. I felt that this restaurant really cares about their customers because even though on the menu there were a couple of vegan options they offered to cook for me a warm salad with the vegetable that I liked... When we wanted to go out to lunch to celebrate a wedding anniversary, having considered many of the other restaurants in Romsey, we decided on The White Horse; it's always been good for us and didn't let us down again. The White Horse is a case of getting what you pay for. It's not cheap, but when you've sampled the... More

My wife and I visited on the 30th of December for lunch. We were greeted and served by two fantastic waiters who, from my receipt, I believe are called William and Susana. They were professional and friendly from start to finish and are a credit to the hotel. The food was delicious, all three courses, and such attention to detail... More

Wonderful food and well presented. The only criticism is that the plates weren't really warm but the food was piping hot. The Christmas lunch was the traditional lunch and all well cooked.
