My mother and her friends regularly visit the Plough for Sunday Lunch and from time to time I also visit with friends - usually on a Friday night. The food is consistently good quality, well cooked and very generous portions.

We popped in for lunch, after a run around Fleet Pond as its just a 1-2 min drive towards Cove/Farnborough. Lovely welcome from Andy and his team, as we entered with two dogs. Lots and lots of space for us to sit in the bar...More

Met with friends for a celebration meal organised by Landlord Andy. Had a crab bomb to start with and a poached salmon salad with slivers of apple. I can honestly say this is one of the best meals I have had anywhere in a long...More

Popped into this pub on a weekend whilst driving nearby. On the outside it appears quite inviting which is in contrast to the inside. It's clearly a 'drinkers' pub which by itself is not bad but it must appear inviting to the visitors. The greeting...More

Car park - about 20 cars I would guess and certain amount of street parking in St Johns Road and Church Road. Not Fleet Road

Description
Good Beer and Simple Food with fresh ingredients...

The Plough & Horses is a traditional local pub situated in the village of Cove just 4 miles from Farnborough.

Whilst the pub has a lively atmosphere, the low ceilings and open fire (during the colder months) also bring about a cosy feel to the pub.

Food from our varied menu, which is popular with diners of all ages, is prepared from fresh ingredients every day and served in our family friendly restaurant dining area, the garden or the bar area, wherever you are most comfortable!

If beer is your tipple then there is a good selection available from the bar which also offers a range of lagers, wines and soft drinks to cater for all preferences, including tea or coffee should this take your fancy.

Sporting events are shown regularly in our bar area so why not come along and watch your favourite match on the big screen with a pint!

Free Wi-Fi communication is available throughout the pub........Or you could just TALK to each other!

The Plough & Horses is an attractive brick built building and is one of the oldest pubs in the area.....Why not come take a look.

In the summer many customers are attracted to our large beer garden where food and drinks are served in a secluded and family friendly environment.

Dogs are welcome throughout the pub provided they are kept under control at all times.

Our friendly staff and regulars look forward to seeing new faces and await your visit!
