Went for dinner and we were warned about the flies. On arrival the bar and food area had loads flies buzzing around, this was certainly off putting whilst having a meal. The restaurant had 3 young and inexperienced staff working, it was half empty and...More

I am sorry to learn of the problems with the flies on your visit. The heat this summer seemed to make insects much worse than usual. In addition, having only acquired Fostons Ash Inn just 4 weeks before you visited, it seems that in the...More

Starting with the good, the front of house staff were very polite, friendly and apologetic. The food on the other hand was absolutely awful. Went on bank holiday Monday, bearing in mind when we arrived there was only 1 guest sat at the bar drinking...More

Now under new ownership and polo gin insignia prominently displayed. A great welcome with attentive service which will get slicker in time I’m sure. Nice food, well presented if not too innovative. Delicious coffee and beer. I recommend it and would happily eat here again.

Description
Nestled in the heart of the Cotswolds, we pride ourselves on delivering brilliantly fresh and locally sourced food & beverages. With extensive gardens (with play area) to enjoy in the Summer and open log fires in the winter, The Foston's Ash is a true Cotswold destination in the heart of the Cotswold Hills. We aim to promote a community feel at The Foston's. As such all of our dishes freshly produced on site using only the finest ingredients from local suppliers. Dogs, horses and children are of course also welcome in our happy and friendly pub. As our beautiful country pub is only an idyllic ride away to Edgeworth & Longdole Polo Club and only a short drive to Cirencester Park & The Beaufort; the venue is fast becoming a favourite amongst the local polo community. Please do feel welcome to park your vehicle and explore the bridleways and footpaths that run from the venue before coming enjoying refreshment in the pub. Booking is recommended.
