I've eaten there twice and can't wait to eat again. Once was with another couple and the second time was a family Sunday lunch. Best food I've eaten in this area for a long time.

Each time we come the food doesn't disappoint, nor does the service and level of attention. Favourite dishes include the omelette Arnold Bennett, pea and mint soup and Mac n cheese. Traditional pub food with a chef twist and always high quality.

Third visit. Delighted with the first three visits. This time was slightly disappointing. Arrived 10 minutes late and was immediately hustled to order food quickly. Having one chef in the kitchen obviously affects timing but this behaviour does not set you in the appropriate mood...More

I was invited with friends to the Windmill for a group dinner. I set of from the Kent coast and arrived in time for pre dinner drinks. The setting is brilliant, picture box with Rolling fields looking out over the immaculately presented Beer garden. We...More

Description
Situated in the charming hamlet of Chatham Green, The Windmill is a beautiful, real drinking pub, combining outstanding food with a selection of real ales, cocktails and an extensive wine list. Now in the care of Mick and Lydia Binnington, The Windmill has been sympathetically refurbished to maintain its character and original features including the lovely floor to ceiling oak beams. A seasonal menu in our relaxed, cosy restaurant offers elegant, simple food sourced from the best produce from around the local area, paired with a friendly and efficient service.
