Best pub in the Bay. Friendly staff and great atmosphere in this ancient building. Good price drinks and good choices, including alcohol free beers. Great evening.

They had the steak pies, served with the best mashed potato I have ever eaten out. Unfortunately as I had eaten at lunch time I ordered something lighter and had... More

Dashed in here to escape the rain and stopped for lunch and a drink. Polite and pleasant service with wholesome food in a nice atmosphere. Attentive young man behind the bar looked after us well and checked all was well with our food at the appropriate moment. (a sign of good training in my book) Pleasant brief visit and would... More

Great service with a smile. There is a limited menu, but everything was freshly cooked . The beer was excellent and very reasonably priced.

We have eaten here several times and it has always been good. Freshly prepared decent meals. No freezer to fryer here!! Best to eat quite early which suits us anyway. Friendly welcoming atmosphere just as a pub should be. They have good live music as well also a panto is coming up!!
