This pub has been empty for several months. The owner successfully applied to convert it to housing . A petition from local residents to the council failed to preserve it as a pub.

Went for lunch, had a fantastic lunch of pizza! Choice of toppings and base, brilliantly cooked and very tasty, bit different for a proper English Pub. Great atmosphere and nice beer, really impressed. Plenty of parking too.
Excellent 'posh' pub food rather than just pub grub. great knowledgeable staff and a warm atmosphere, not to mention the lovely pub dog!
