At last a good old fashion pub that doesn't break the bank to eat out as often Battle postcode seems to put prices through the roof 'great food, good service and looking forward to the next visit with group of friends.

From memory, there is a step up into the pub and then a further couple of steps to the dining room at the back. There were people eating at dining tables in the bar area though.
