We chanced upon the Royal Oak, whilst out visiting nearby Bodiam. What a find! Lovely atmosphere, welcoming staff, fabulous food with very generous portions. Even the salads are huge! Would recommend trying to leave some room for a dessert, you won't be disappointed

Great food, lovely atmosphere and very friendly staff. A must visit if you're in the area! Steak on a stone on a Friday night is superb and you must must must try the Greek yoghurt honey and pistachios!
