Came here for lunch with clients - great service, delicious food, and quaint location to be sure. The next time I visit, I will order the mini Fish and Chips ... the lunch version is simply too much food regardless of the taste!

Friday lunch for 3 was excellent. A shared ploughman's, and fish soup were excellent. Prices were about par for the area, possibly a little higher than the competition. Staff were very cheerful and efficient and gave a warm welcome. Would recommend.

Decided to go for Sunday lunch here as we hadn't visited for a long time. It was busy and space was reduced due to impending refurbishment but we were quickly found a table upstairs. There was obviously a wood fire somewhere in the pub/resturant and...More

Yes it is very dog friendly! I would like to add that at no time were any dogs a nuisance. The area outside is very beautiful for walking - with or without dogs! X
