First rate coffee and good pastry. We didn’t try the “Svalbard cognac” but it seemed interesting. Only complaint we had was that it gets pretty crowded at lunch time. It also makes and sells chocolate. On my wife’s experienced judgement, it’s good stuff.

They offer a nice lunch menu, as well as delicious cakes and treats. They also sell their own luxury chocolate, well worth a taste.

I loved it so much I came back everytime I could! Nice cappuccinos and they also sell products made in Svalbard and Norway. Homemade chocolate is also available and delicious ^^

Good coffee, cakes, snacks and chocolates. Fairly priced apart from the chocolates but the latter are pretty exclusive.

Easily the coziest spot in town with excellent hot drinks, pastries, lunches, and chocolates. Definitely the locals meet-up spot, and easy to keep the dark away hanging out inside here. Only would lose points for not having WiFi access.

Cosy little cafe to escape the cold! The chai latte was a very generous size and I couldn't resist a little white chocolate polar bear on the side!

It opens at 10am ...so nice to come in for coffee (nok 25 +) and pastry, but the soups are delicious and filling for less than 100 nok. Full of locals and in season, tourists, and the speciality is actually chocolate. But so much more...More

For me I only had one day there and could have done with a lot more but we used it as a port for our cruise around Svalbard. I did dog sledding at Longyearbyen with Green Dog which was very good. There are many other things... More

Everything on Svalbard comes there by transport- airplane or ships. If want to be sure a food item is available, you should bring it. There are lots of great cooks there who like food, but you need to make special plans with... More
