My husband and i visited El Palenque during the week. We tried the day before but the restaurant was packed with patrons. The inside of the restaurant was open and airy and clean. The employees were extremely attentive to your every need. The food was OUTSTANDING!!!!!! We had the shrimp fahitas and they were the best that we ever had and we have experienced a lot of Mexican food from different restaurants. Homemade salsa omg!!! Prices were perfect and definitely worth every bit of the meal which was enough to easily make 3 meals out of it because there was so much. Definitely will be a frequent visitor to this restaurant. Great Job Everyone, You Rock!!!!!

Not bad food at all. Dinner was very tasty. Tacos were amazing, and the chorizo was designed so deliciously. The cheese could have berm in heftier amounts, but that's me being nitpicky

I was so pleased with all aspects of this dining experience. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious and filling. The price was very reasonable. We will definitely continue to make this one of our favorites.

We used to go to el palenque probably once a week. We had gone so much I have had practically everything on their menu at least once. the food quality however became so inconsistent in prep and execution we stopped. Went back today for the first time in 2 years to see if it has improved. it has not. the chips served with or salsa is excellent. the salsa on the other hand taste like spaghetti sauce. no cilantro taste or visable onions or garlic at all. I got the deep fried pork burrito. The pork was burned making it extremely dry. There was supposed to be pickled jalapenos wrapped inside. I found one in the three bites i could eat of this thing it was so dry. My tablemate got the burrito bowl. she said the meat was good but tasted like the rest of the bowl was ice cold thereby making it all cold. we won't be back. the waiter never brought the bill to the table or checked if we wanted dessert. when we went to pay the host asked use who took care of use. we didn't get a name told her kid with green shirt. they went to look for him. different gentlemen brought our check. very unorganized.

Thieves!!!!

The workers here stole my son's bike ....along with his two friends. Hid them. Behind a dump truck.!!! Thieves!!!! 😠 Thank God all three boys found their bikes!!

Good Service but Food Is Bland

I agree with others that the service is good and that the prices are nice, but the food is bland. It is not that it is bad food; however, it is like every other Mexican restaurant out there across the states. The meat in the items, whether chicken or beef, which I had, is bland, made for average Americana taste buds.I wish there were a way to at least have ethnic restaurants offer some more traditionally cooked dishes on the menu.

Haven't been in this place since it was the Wing Wearhouse years ago. I heard the food was good at El Palenque so we decided to give it a try. We couldn't have been happier for a first visit restaurant. The food was excellent, service outstanding and priced right. Happened to be my wife favorite as the Tuesday lunch special so that made the visit even better. Our waiter Fernando was polite, attentive and very friendly.

As soon as you sit down, you get tortilla chips and salsa. The chips are large and not greasy or salty. A-1 tacos, burritos, enchiladas, rice and more. Full bar, loud and festive inside.
