Katzinger's is a great place for lunch. In summer there is outside seating but in winter it is a little crowded. I always get a reuben. It is huge....easily more than a pound of corned beef...and a great dill pickle. Wonderful sandwiches and german salads like potato salad. You can also buy a variety of cheeses. It is one of... Wife and I heading south in Columbus at lunch time without enough time for a sit down lunch but not wanting fast food, Katzinger's deli was the answer. With ample parking in the rear of the place, we were in and out in 7 minutes. Me with their Reuben Sandwich,my wife got the chicken salad sandwich. My Reuben was great,... More

First time in. I was told to get the Ruben. I am not a fan of sauerkraut, but the way they make it, I enjoyed it. The smoked turkey looks the best. The bread and meat are very fresh. That's important to me. Would go back again and again.

Have been to Katzinger's several times and they know Deli! I recommend the pastrami on rye with spicy mustard. The pastrami has great flavor and is as tender as I've had anywhere. The bread is nice and soft with a great crust. Pickles not my favorite but that is a personal preference

This was nice deli with carry out and eat in options. The sandwich menu is fairly extensive and they include some Jewish specialties. They do have seating for eat in.

Great food, good wait staff. I was stuffed at the end. Be prepared for a line, but it moves quickly.

Katzingers is the deli every neighborhood should have. An authentic joint that is true to its original style, doesn't try to hop on the hipster band wagon, and serves excellent deli fare. Known for their corned beef and smoked fish, as much as the ever present barrels of pickles, katzingers also provides a great selection of breads, bagels, pastries, and... More

Looking for quick place to eat and came across this little gem on Trip advisor. Quaint little place just inside German village. They have "garlic dill pickles".

Hot corned beef sandwich needs to be served with hot, or at least warm, corned beef, right. Not here. Ordered hot corned beef sandwiches. Asked when ordered if we had to order as hot. Were told all corned beef is served hit. Wrong. Cold corned beef and sliced a little too thickly sliced for me. At these prices I will... More

Description
Katzinger's Delicatessen - Family owned and operated since 1984!
Our sandwiches are really big - HUGE in fact. We know some of you can't eat that much so we also offer a smaller sandwich - we refer to it as Normal. All sandwiches come with a free help-yourself-from-the-pickle-barrel dill. Choose from traditional "old" or garlicky "new". And we offer plenty of freshly prepared-to-order salads and desserts to tempt you, too. You should leave Katzinger's wanting to come back again - and soon!

We're very proud of our food - Black Angus corned beef prepared by Sy Ginsburg's United Meat and Deli using Sy's special secret ingredient ( many, many tons later and he still won't tell us what it is!)...Chickens raised by Amish families at Gerber Farms... Imported Emmentaler, the original Swiss cheese... Breads made especially for us and delivered daily by Mediterra Bakehouse in Pittsburgh and we hand slice every loaf... Bagels from Sammy's delivered fresh daily... Gluten free bread from Eban bakery of Grove City . Our mayo is Hellmann's. We oven roast our turkeys to moist perfection. We dress our roast beef with lots of garlic and rosemary and roast it to a beautifully pink medium rare. We marinate our brisket for 48 hours before slow roasting to fork tenderness. Our chicken, tuna and egg salads are made with memorable recipes. These are just a few of the fine ingredients we use to create the deli foods of Katzinger's Delicatissen.
