Stopped in from out of town. The prices are great. I had the rib dinner and my wife had chicken wings. Her only complaint was the fried okra was prepared from frozen. We can't get barbecue that tastes like this on the East Coast. What a treat!

So this was my first time in Cleveland. Heard about this place on man vs. food so we tried it out after work. First, my family is from the islands, but my friends American but from Louisiana. Second, the name is very misleading, nothing is hot about the sauce, only tangy. I ordered the fried chicken and fries with the... More

unprofessional, rude, ignorant and that's just the employees not the food. Food tasted reheated, very greasy and tiny sides. Ask a question and they look at you like you're speaking Chinese.

I'm from Atlanta and usually am visiting for a wedding. I was told that I needed to get a "polish boy" from this place and I was not let down. I was also told that they do their wings differently. Boy were they! I got full wings breaded and sauced! The sauce was thick, spicy, and sweet! The wings were... More

I don’t think this place is used to seeing strangers. And – as one reviewer said – don’t expect a smile when you walk in. Just find the menu taped to the counter and order your food. And don’t expect a lot of explanation – from the counter person or the menu. For instance, the rib dinner comes with fries... More

I stopped in here based upon seeing the restaurant featured on television. What a disappointment. The inside was very dirty. I strode up to the counter to look at the menu while a very heavy woman sitting on a chair ignored me for ten minutes. She had no interest in taking my order. When she finally did, it was obvious... Greasy, poorly prepared food in a rundown location. Nothing to recommen this places even if the prices were dirt cheap (which they sadly are not).

While visiting the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame a Clevelanite recommend this restaurant over the steakhouse within the Tower Mall. It took about twenty minutes to get there from downtown. (The GPS was invaluable navigating the roads in the dark.) When we arrived my jaw dropped. I couldn't believe how run down the building look. It looked like a... More
