A coworker had been to Der Braumeisters a couple years ago and wanted to go back while we were working in the area. A group of us visited Der Braumeisters for dinner and we all enjoyed our dinners and beers and the service. They have a good beer selection on tap and even more in bottle. We drank our beers... Just finished having dinner with my sisters, 3 different meals. It had to be the most tasteless meal ever. How can can you possibly make German potato salad with no flavor? Red cabbage limp and tasteless. A smoked pork chop so over cooked my sister was unable to cut it. My other sister had chicken pap. how do you use... More

While the staff were very helpful and the food was pretty good it took an extremely long time after ordering before our food arrived. I would suggest going here to drink but maybe not eat, unless you have a lot of time to kill. I would say average German fare.

Waitresses were attentive and the Sauerbraten was tastey, The waitress told us of the Spargelzeit –( Asparagus Season) festival. However, when the asparagus arrived on my plate the stalks were extremely thin and few of them. They were not the typical white as Germans are most fond of. We did enjoy the apple strudel which was true to German tradition... More

Tried this place and just got back. Had a Groupon and wanted to experiment with a good German restaurant. The inside looked authentic, the food was good, very good potato pancakes and purple cabbage. The schnitzel was good but lacked flavor so we asked for some gravy which they brought out. Dessert was also disappointing with taste. When I presented... More

We arrived expecting to spend an enjoyable evening while celebrating the retirement of a family member. There had been a phone conversation, several days prior to our arrival, supposedly to prevent surprises with food choices and help expedite service. This did not seem to matter in the least since the waitresses were unsure, through no fault of their own, how... More

We arrived at the restaurant before 6pm on a recent Saturday. We did not make reservations, so we were told the wait would be about 5th 15 min. We sat at the bar to wait . It took at least 15 min. before the bartender acknowledged us for a drink order as nd then we waited another 15 min. for... More

Both my parents came from Germany. So as a youth I was introduced to a lot of German food and drink At the DER BRAUMEISTER I enjoyed a glass of hofbrau beer on tap and my wife had a glass of leibfraumilch at the bar.. In the dinning room the first bite of the german potato salad took me back... More

We finally had the opportunity to try this ethnic restaurant, and it did not disappoint. The food was like something you would expect at your Grandmas house - really good but not a high end restaurant. The place was definitely dated, but extremely clean and the servers were outstanding. Back to the food. Everything we had was authentic and served... More

Old German tavern with lots of wood. Sauerbraten is made the authentic method with prime beef and served with home made spaetzel. A wide array of tender veal or pork schnitzels. Rouladen, roast pork, hand rolled bread dumplings as well as sausages. Hand made sauerkraut balls make a great appetizer.
