Staff friendly and knowledgeable.... fish and chips divine.. didn't leave a greasy after taste in your mouth.. eaten on the beach overlooking Granite Rock enhances the experience :) highly recommend..

Been here many a time to buy chips and then munch out on them in Warland Reserve. Makes some pretty decent chips, and the dim sims aren't bad either.

The fish is fresh and the food is good but the decor of the place probably has not been updated since 60's.

My wife took the grandkids to the movies and we decided to have fish and chips in the car while watching the sun go down at the beach Unfortunately the outing was rather spoils by the soggy cold chips dished up to us Sure they were very busy but it really doesn't excuse the fact that what was dished up... We were initially a little worried seeing just 2 young lads handling cooking and serving. But we need not have worried as the fish and chips were cooked well, crispy batter and cripsy chips. Fish was fresh and tasty.

Met with friends on Hayborough Beach for a beautiful twilight get together! Had takeaway fish and chips from the Original VH Fish Shop. Chips great, but crumbed garfish and flathead a bit fatty! Good portion sizes!

Takeaway order of Flat Head (crumbed) & chips for the family. Fish was cooked fantastically well and chips were good. Will be back. Fish will normally come battered-but, if you want it crumbed, just ask, and they will oblige.

Fish was good for takeaway but don't eat in: menu covers were filthy, cutlery was stained and service was poor. They even got the bill wrong.

These guys really know how to do the fish/chip dinner, you can eat in or takeaway and order to suit your preference. Its often busy but they do a good job to serve lots of customers if you don't mind a wait of up to 15 minutes.
