Such a beautiful winery. Matt and Katy are such wonderful people. Their wines are premium and they even have great craft beer. Their restaurant is simply amazing. Just an wonderful experience. Love going back each time.

Ekhidna wines and restaurant have recently moved to a new location on branson road. It is in a lovely setting amongst the vines. There is the ability to taste and buy wines. We could sit inside or outside in the courtyard. The food was good and the staff very attentive. The owner has plans to develop more. The restaurant is... More

Matt (Rechner) who runs this has got the formula spot-on - visited over Easter for a family gathering - tasted all his wines and they are all good. Plus had a meal. The restaurant is well worth a visit as it has a great selection of menu choices in a custom built setting next to the vines. The wines have... More

Well done Matt and long awaited revival. Excellent decor and views over the vineyard. Food was excellent with great variety of choices. After a little more staff training (only one hiccup at our table) I would definitely give you a 5, my rating was a very high 4. See you next time

Called in here today for a quick look. It's quite an impressive place and unexpectedly large and busy. Seems to be new and very well presented. Was expecting a small cellar door but was surprised by the place. A brief taste of wines then departed. A well set out restaurant there too. Tasting room was too hot though.

Well worth stopping in for lunch and a glass of red, you could also spend a day blending your own wine if you're into that sort of thing. One of my early wine tasting experiences in mclaren vale and still one of the best.

Excellent foods and wines at this awesome joint. You will not be disappointed. The mains are a bit pricey as the quantity isnt that much. But you do get quality foods. The decorations of the plates could however use more details.
