Great place and atmosphere not overpriced. Great change from the expensive restaurants. Love this style of food and this place did not fail to please. Employees were friendly also which was a great added bonus. Many Thanks

The sausage was ok. Bought a wurst with sauerkraut when walking past. The sausage was only warm and was ok but I've had a lot better. Only plain mustard and plain sauce available to top it. The bun was just a cheap hotdog bun. The older lady serving was pleasent to speak with but she bagged the Japanese tourists while... More

After 3 month of Aussie food I saw the German Tucker in Kuranda and can't resist. Top Cheesekransky, white Bratwurst and a German beer...what a feeling and Paddy is a lovely guy. If you like those stuff and you are around...go there. Also they have other food as well.

Whether you hit the sausage stand on the street or head inside for a seat, this place is the ducks nuts. Absolutely delicious German food, great beer, friendly (and entertaining) staff, and located just off the main street in Kuranda. Cheap as chips too! Wish I could eat there every day!

I don't eat meat, but German Tucker, which specialises in wurst, has a vegetarian option. It comes in a roll for take-away which is good, and as a sit-down meal with salad and German potatoes and that was really good. We had both last week. My friends enjoyed their wurst.

I enjoyed a Kaseknacker hot dog with onion and sauerkraut. Seriously delicious. There was a big line and my order was somehow lost but when I realised everyone else had received their food and I hadn't they were quick to get me a hot dog asap. Great place. 100% worth the visit.

We had the set lunch which was potato salad, rye bread, lettuce, tomato, onions, sauerkraut and your choice of sausage. For $12 this was a substantial lunch. The service was quick and friendly. Very good value for a tasty lunch.

Nice place for a enjoyable snack or lunch. Three types of sausages complemented with onions and sour cruet. Staff are friendly and a should add we are not German.

Excellent meal of sausage, potato salad and black bread. Big serving - couldn't finish it all. Good news - it is licensed. Bad news - you need to pay with cash. However, they didn't want payment until after we had eaten so what would have happened then? (small print on the menu says you have to do the dishes!).
