The selection of pies and baked goods would tempt anyone. I recommend he chunky steak pies but here is something for everyone. No wonder the cast of the Movie Australia loved them.

Visited this bakery for the first time while on holiday at Bowen and was very impressed with the selection of food on offer. Brought a pie and it was amazing. Went back the next day for a sit down lunch. Another great pie, chocolate brownie...and a hot drink. On the third day went back for another pie and a selection of sandwiches for the road. Will definitely be back one day soon.More

Stopped-in for brekkie. Whilst there was a vast selection of baked goods and sandwiches, we all opted for the ham and cheese croissants with a small flat white. All was simply excellent, and so was the friendly and efficient service. We highly recommend this lovely...place.More

Staff were very friendly. Food was reasonable. Scrambled eggs were good, iced chocolate was tasty, pepper pie was certainly good (but not the best ever pie). Coffee was very medium flavor and milky - but depending on your taste this could be perfect. Pre made...sandwiches and rolls looked amazing!!More

We were told "When in Bowen try out Jochhelms Pies" so we did!! Bustling customers throughout our visit proved this was a very popular little place. Fast friendly service and the Jackman Hunky Pie did not disappoint. Will definitely be returning on our next visit.
