Staying at the travel Lodge next door. Went for breakfast and dinner that evening. Very busy so had to wait for a table but great service and the pasta on the special menu was amazing.

We were a party of ten and it was 24 hours after we'd celebrated a lovely wedding. The food was the standard you would have expected from a large pub - neither outstanding nor dreadful.

Very salty gammon, cold halloumi, burnt fries, slow service, tough steak. Friendly staff tho. Poor quality food.

What did they say? I find that even as a regular I am greeted with sour faces and bad attitudes. I think the staff need to be provided with more well-being and support if the job is so bad they take it out on customers.
