After a long cycle up to the cafe I was rewarded (& spoilt for choice) with cake. The selection was vast, the cakes were huge, fresh and very tasty. Amazing value too.

Been motorcycle riding with a friend who took me to the Hartside Cafe. Wasn't really hungry, just popped in for a brew, but saw home made pies and then Flapjacks. Well one had to and I was not disappointed.

It doesn't matter on quality etc as long as it's there. And yes it was there, we had been for a ride out on the bike, very windy but refreshing. What with the wind blowing us back, forth and sideways Hartside was a welcoming site...More

Stopped off on my way to Penrith from Alston. Great food, a good cup of tea and reasonably priced all with great views.

We stopped off here for the view and had some tea and cakes! They really hit the spot. The breakffast looked good too!

Went recently as part of a run out with the minis . Nice place in the middle of nowhere with amazing views . The food was lovely with loads of choice would definitely visit again if over that way .
