Booked a table in the beer garden in a very spacious and solid looking tent . The day was very wet but that was no problem for either the meal or the staff.
Downloaded the order app which was VERY easy, the order and payment was made swiftly.
Service is good and the meals arrived in short order , a steak sandwich and burger with brisket was very tasty and filling.
As I don't live in Nantwich I used a review app to pick this place to eat and was not disappointed.
The staff seemed to be doing a sterling job under very tricky circumstances, well done to them.
Cost of meal for two and couple of soft drinks was a reasonable £30.

Visited on Saturday 4th Jan expecting a quiet pub after the festive period but to my surprise, the place was bustling and had a great atmosphere.
I was greeted at the bar by a friendly young lady who offered us a seat in the bar area as the restaurant was full at this time. We know to book for next time!
The menu was varied and we faced a difficult choice on what to order but i eventually went for a Motherclucker burger and my partner went for the Steak pie.
The food was delicious and we were not disappointed, the burger was not only hilarious in name but also very tasty. Cajun chicken topped with chilli infused pulled chicken and pink coleslaw with crunchy burger salad on a brioche bun. Lovely.
My partners pie was clearly homemade and a huge portion to boot, she loved it.
We will definitely be returning. Keep up the good work!

Amazing. Having had takeaway food from other pubs in the area, and most recently a takeaway from a popular smokehouse in Nantwich, the most impressive by far is the Leopard. Not many pubs have managed to so seamlessly adapt to a takeaway-only system, but thank you Leopard for being an exception. We ordered the beef pie and the ‘sticky chicky’ and managed to shovel down some delicious southern chicken tenders and onion rings too. This place has got it’s takeaway food spot on. Portion sizes were great, everything still piping hot in their boxes despite a 15 min drive home, the burger was not squashed, everything clearly labelled, and, everything crispy remained crispy in transit (the same cannot be said of other restaurants, some of which taste like chips have been in their boxes for hours!)!! Goes without saying all food was delicious. Collection is easy and feels as safe as can be. The branded paper bags are just a symbol of how well put-together this place is. Thanks for some much needed top tasty tea.

Really only popped in for a quick drink as one look at the menu said only suitable if you like chips and burgers, and other high calorie stuff, I can get that at home but better, isn't it time pubs served real food, not the run of the mill calorie laiden spread, no wonder we are all overweight.
Would be nice if you could get a proper curry, a chilli, or an amazing salad, and no not talking bit of lettuce and tomato. The overall feeling is that food like this has had its day, it's not exciting enough now in 2020

It was my first visit, to The Leopard, on Saturday and it will be my last. On arrival, because we had not booked a table, my friend asked the lady behind the bar if there was a table for 2. She said yes but “you’ll have to be done by 8pm”. I thought this was blunt and unprofessional. We were seated and a pleasant man came and took our food order. The lady, that was initially rude to us, came and placed the cutlery on the table between us without saying anything, not even excuse me, as she reached across in between us. The food came out and my £15 burger was served in a plastic tray which I wasn’t expecting. There was no room to manoeuvre the food and the paper, that lined the plastic tray, kept sticking to the food. I would expect this presentation from a street food style vendor but The Leopard, I think, is not the right setting. We waited a while for our dishes to be cleared. after finishing, and not once did anybody ask if everything was okay with our food. As the rude lady collected our dishes she said “do you want anything else?” Again, I didn’t think this was the correct way to address customers, in the tone that she did, and she was very rude. She was also wearing an extremely short skirt that I thought was inappropriate. I have had far better service at other places, and this brought the food down, so I would rather offer my custom elsewhere instead.

I've been championing this place for a while to friends and family because the quality of service and food is the best around.
It does tend to get busy but for me its just the sign of a good pub/restaurant.
The place is well known for its burgers and pies but it does cater for most tastes, a good selection of curry, chilli and salads are available.
I visited on Saturday lunch and it was more of the same... i opted for the motherclucker burger which is my fav! My friends had the jungle curry and the 5 bean chilli and they both went down a treat.
cant recommend enough.

Now lockdown is over, I love the fact that the Leopard does fist come first served. I went this evening and waited about 30 minutes for an outside table which was definitely worth the wait.
I had steak and every item including the steak had so much flavour. The steak was cooked to my liking and delicious, the mushroom and tomato were so full full of flavour and the best I have tasted. As for the chips they were also amazing. I don't really like chips and, find them boring and quite tasteless however, these chips I could eat all day. They were crispy on the outside, chunky and so fluffy inside and they were already seasoned.
I did ask the waiter for salt and vinegar but, I did not need it as the chips were so tasty and seasoned to perfection. The food was served super hot too which I like.
Well done Leopard- fabulous food and fabulous staff. Don't change the non booking system.
Will be back regularly for more amazing food.

This was the location of two friends who haven’t seen each other for five years and their family’s! It was great the food and the service was amazing! Hey r great with kids and even other customers were so nice. We don’t eat much so asked for kids meals and they didn’t mind at all. If we are in the area again we will definitely be coming here. Prices look expensive but you get what you pay for and it’s well worth it! Toilets also nice and clean.

It says on google that it opens at 11.30 every day but it doesn’t. Nearly all tables had reserved signs on them. It was 12.00 and it had reserved signs on for 8pm. Why? It’s not necessary. The young man behind the bar is really nice and polite but the guy who I think is the owner is miserable. He never smiles and isn’t interested in any conversation. The food was nice however, the burger with shredded beef and gravy on it was served on paper in a small plastic basket with chips. There was no way the burger could be picked up so I had to eat it with a knife and fork. Soon the paper was soggy and wet so I ended up inadvertently eating bits of it. For a burger and chips costing £15, I would expect a plate.

I come to this place to eat quite a lot, the menu is full of delicious meals, everything from your local pub grub - dirty food burgers and dogs - healthy options (the beef salad is to die for!) and there vegan options is some of the best I’ve seen!
After reading some of the reviews on here some people obviously don’t know what the hell they are talking about or are clearly jealous of how well this business is doing.
The pub is always busy but it is as to be expected for a pub that wins best food in Nantwich every year.
Highly recommended!!!!

Bar staff were helpful and friendly, beer was good.
We ordered the ribs/chicken combo which was very good, the Orimental burger which was just OK. Bun was dry and the burger patty was way overcooked.
Also we ordered the posh cow burger which again was very dry and dissapointing.
The menu isn't cheap and promises so much but doesn't really deliver.
We would not visit again based on this experience.

This pub definitely as the wow factor classy but traditional,on a very dismal rainy day we were greeted with a friendly smile ,choice of where we wanted to sit we chose by the cosy fire .
Great menu although we went for the bar menu which was brilliant Salt & pepper chicken, chips and curry sauce and Hoisin Duck with fries they were awesome ,pot of tea and 2 lattes just under £27 by the way good size portions didn’t quite manage to eat them all.
It was a great relaxing atmosphere thank you Darren & your lovely staff will for sure be back again.

Nice meal, but the service wasn’t great. No one to ask how our meal was, no one come to order more drinks when empty and no one come to clear to table and get the bill. Even though there were 4 waiting on staff stood at the bar near us talking. When we went to the bar to pay we had to stand and wait for the staff to finish their conversation first.

We stumbled on this pub by accident with a "wrong turn". However, it was lunchtime so we thought it was time to stop. They appeared to be only one waiter but she was kept busy and did a good job as more and more people (mostly locals) filled the dining area. A couple of menu items I selected were unavailable so I decided to have the summer fruit crumble for lunch and I was so glad I did because it is one of the best I have ever had - generous amount of not too sweet fruit and a sweeter crunchy topping. Best of all it was cooked and served in a cast iron pan which kept it hot and there was a generous portion of custard in a side dish and a dollop of cream on top. Mu husband had the Greek Salad - again a generous serving and fresh vegetables. he also thought the beer was excellent.

Having visited pre lockdown for a beer The Leopard was a place we had decided we wanted to visit for a meal.
We had booked in advance and the protocols for social distancing were all well signposted and observed.
Good choices on the menu.
We picked a variety of starters, halloumi fries, chicken dippers and nachos, generous helpings, hot and tasty.
Main courses selected varied from different parts of the menu; 10 oz gammon steak with all the trimmings, crispy beef salad, New York posh dog (hot dog with chilli, mustard and fried onions) and lamb shwarma flatbread - all of which were beautifully presented and met every expectation. Great selection of beers and super service.
We'll be going again, in the not too distant future!
