"Quirky" as a previous Tripper described it, is right and befitting its location. From the friendly greeting on our arrival through the door, to our departure at check out - the service said "we value you as a customer" - a refreshing change these days!...More

We found The Wizard after a walk in the woods nearby. We sat outside enjoying the weather, there were plenty of benches with parasols. We had coffee, cold drinks and cake. We ordered inside the tearoom and the drinks and cakes were brought out to...More

What a delight it was to stumble upon this cute and quirky tea room. I was very happy to find out dogs were welcome and they provided water and dog sausages for £1. The scones were delicious and there was a huge range of hot...More

Lovely setting and pleasant staff. The free cucumber water is very nice. A piece of bread with one gem lettuce leaf and small prawns on top. Plus a small bowl of kettle crisps. Costs £8.. I think this is poor value for money as there...More

Have been a few times now always fresh and tasty. What ever the weather always nice cakes. Not to much that you are over faced. Pleasant staff very helpful. Great after a walk in the surrounding woods. Very dog friendly.

Visited here for breakfast today. The location is lovely and it's nice to sit in such pleasant surroundings. Being honest, with absolutely no axe to grind, I did find £ 9 for a relatively small to average sized english breakfast overpriced. Drinks and toast are...More

Hi Andrea, Thank you for taking the time to write us a review. The removal of toast from our 'Wizard Breakfast' was down to several factors, however, we do listen to our customers, and I can happily say that it is now included again! So...More

This place is what it is - a tea room . It isn’t an overpriced garden centre cafe, or a trendy bistro. This is a tea room, yes just one room. You will not get soggy chips, a dish garnished with a jus, or an...More
