We didn't go into this cafe we sat at a table outside yesterday afternoon in beautiful warm sunshine we had a pot of tea served by a smiling friendly waiter and enjoyed the sun and people watched while drinking our tea. Bliss.

Great place for brunch really nice toasties, baked potatoes, sandwiches etc My husband likes all day breakfast. The staff are lovely and go out of their way to help you. I watched a member of staff walk an elderly gentlemen to his car and help him into the car then closed his door afterwards. Its not something you see everyday,... More

Happened upon ther Village Cafe on Wednesday this week with some friends who live in ther village. We were greeted like family by Gul, what a lovely lady. Engaging, humorous and great to chat to. We visited for lunch, i ordered ther grilled goats cheese as a "snack" the chef needs to look in the dictionary for the definition of... More

Had cake and coffee. The coffee was good but the cakes where the dry, over sweet massed produced rubbish - custard was made with water and the cream on the side was that awful synthetic stuff. The meals looked good value, can't comment on the quality. The place was very clean but the staff where unfriendly. Dx

I have eaten lunch at this café on many occasions and the food is always of good quality, if you are looking for a reasonably priced lunch with freshly made lunchtime favourites soups, sandwiches, salads and more then this is the place to come. They also serve excellent coffee. On top of that the service is really good, very pleasant... More

Went here for breakfast during a recent stay in Alderley Edge. Staff are friendly and the service was good even though the café was very busy.
