Family and I ate Thanksgiving dinner here. Loved it. I am very well traveled and huge foodie. Was overwhelmed by this place. For a remote city of 300 far away from everything. Was great. Owners are great, food fantastic

Amazing setting, simply delicious food. If you get a chance to participate in a meal at the Leaky Palapa, don't hesitate!

Granted I was here for a very special occasion and it was a private party for my Brother and his soon to be wife, but the it was a splended meal. Fresh, uniquely Mexican and modern. The staff and hosts kept everything run seamlessly and we had a wonderful time.

Frig-gin Awesome! Marla is my favourite chef and Linda is my favourite host. Get a bunch of your friends together and let them do your dinner party so that you can enjoy your company.

Unfortunately, while we were in the area we missed the supper club by one day! We were quite bummed about it, however our hosts at our hotel (Sin Duda Villas) put in a call to the amazing Linda & Marla at Leaky Palapa and we were able to order some of their amazing huitlacoche ravioli to cook ourselves! Seriously. We... More

Run by a beautiful couple of Canadian Expats, this is fine dinning in a Southern Mexican town of 300. You must be a member so ask your hotelier!

My first visit to xclack to visit my family who has lived there 1/2 year for 12 years. I had heard wonderful things about the leaky palapa and the incredible good and hospitality the Marla and Linda create there. We attended the Saturday night supper club with a prefix menu available one line beforehand. 24 local expats and visiting guests... More

This place is a treat! Just when you think you have given up all things American and have completely integrated into the sleepy culture of Xcalak, you remember how amazing specialty gourmet food is! We had been staying in the southern part of Q. Roo for almost ten days. Dining on fish tacos, chicken fajitas, and quesadillas to our hearts... More

I drove 90 minutes on jungle road to have supper here and 90 minutes back again. I thought the drive was worthwhile as the food was superb. I enjoyed all the food but especially the house made Huitlacoches ravioles with squash flower and brown butter sauce. The ravioles were cooked to perfection and for me it was a first to... More

This visit was our third, having dined here two years ago when it was a great restaurant. We loved it then and love it now. This time we were treated with pork that was cooked perfectly, seasoned nicely in a Caribbean style. Our hosts, Marna and Linda, run a great place with superb food and a great atmosphere. We're heading... More

Our restaurant combines gourmet cuisine and friendly service in a tropical garden setting. We work to achieve the perfect balance between fine dining and the casual charm of the Mexican Caribbean.
We work hard to create a tapestry of flavor, aroma, color, sound and hospitality - making us a favorite gathering spot for locals and visitors alike. Our restaurant is the place to enjoy great food in a casually elegant palapa atmosphere.
