Stopped for a wander around town and lunch after a visit to the ruins Possibly not the best day for the restaurant as there was a huge electricity blackout across the whole region This was probably why we were offered a restricted choice from the menu I had the Pibil which was very tasty and extremely tender as well as... I enjoyed the breakfast buffet a lot! It was 99 pesos including coffee, tea and juice. There Where a lot of options and you could choose how you want your eggs including vegetables etc. Perfect! Also good Wi-Fi. Only minus in my opinion that none of the toilets have a toiletseat. Point for improvement people.

We stayed in this hotel for a few days and had the breakfast buffet each morning. There is a great selection and a cook preparing omelettes, quesadillas, or eggs however you like them. Good fruit selection as well as standard Mexican fare. We also ate there for lunch and it was very good.

We enjoyed breakfast every day down in the courtyard while we stayed at Maria de la Luz. The buffet has the usual cold cereals, fruits, coffee and juices and features a chef prepared to cook your eggs or omelettes any way you may ask. Suggest you ask for meal vouchers when booking the hotel.

The breakfast buffet at Maria de la Luz restaurant is typical of any Mexican hotel. The Pibil was outstanding !

We three middle aged British guys wanted a lunchtime snack, beer and coffee on the square overlooking the cathedral in the heat of the day. There were surprisingly few places that we found. A small cafe was charging a lot for beers (50) considering it was very basic although had a table and two chairs on the pavement. He must... More

We had the breakfast buffet and recommend. Authentic classic Mexican breakfast/lunch/meal selection from beans, tamales, chilaquiles, fresh fruit, juices, coffee, eggs, sausage...could go on and on! Everything was delicious and the service wonderful!

Good price for our budget (we are American so it was less than $8) Great food selection including fruit, custom palettes, and lots of traditional fare.
