Gorgeous and easy to get to. You can jump from pretty high up just remember to keep your body straight or you'll feel it for days :(

Some years ago my younger daughter visited us in Cancun for her birthday [February]. We did not have a car at that time so a local acquaintance drove us out to Valladolid for a long day of Ek Balam ruins, various cenotes out of town, a visit to a local friend of his, ice creams in what I now recognize... We first went to Cenote Zaci 4 years ago on our first trip through Valladolid. This was our first introduction to local Mayan Cuisine and a Cenote. We went there again today with our daughter and granddaughter. The food was excellent and the botanas plenty. The only negative with our food is that we were all finished before my daughter... More

We had an amazing time at Zaci! We loved their beautiful outdoor restaurant with incredible views directly over the Cenote. Incredible Yucatan dishes.... try the Conchinita Pobil (sp?) Our waiter let us go down a special set of stairs to the Cenote after lunch.... it would have only been $3-4 USD per person... but with 5 of us, that was... More

It's impressive and big , but felt a bit nasty and smelly in compared with other cenotes I've seen in Yucatán. But worth visiting even if it's just to take a look.

NOT the best cenote, but a super cool walk down into the cavern to be greeted by a well lit, open cavernous cenote filled with remnants of the last ice age. Surprisingly lovely in the middle of town. An some big diving platforms!

We did not eat at the restaurant, we only enjoyed the cenote. This was the loveliest of the 4 cenotes we visited this trip. Not crowded, not touristy, no one trying to take your picture or sell you guide services, and 30 pesos entry fee. Cannot beat that.

We took my parents & children here en route back to Cancun from Merida. They loved watching the beautiful cenote while we ate. Great Yucatan cuisine, delicious fresh pineapple or watermelon water, & fast courteous service! One of our best stops to eat on our road trip. Highly recommend.

The cenote is dramatic and pretty. You can walk around or jump in and swim. The restaurant is a nice place to relax, eat local fare and people watch. There were local dancers too! A fun place, and a cool respite on a warm afternoon.

A busy cenote but made the trip from the Mayan ruin even better. It was cool and refreshing. This place was an amazing end to an amazing day
