As there are not lots of restaurants around the Parc Francisco Cantòn Rosado, it is easy to find this one if you are looking for a restaurant outside your hotel. I stopped at this one, because the atmosphere seemed nice - there was live music with a duo- and I liked what I saw on the menu, especially the kebabs.... More

Visiting Valladolid we found this place in front of the main park of the city. We all enjoyed the food.

We had been recommended las campanas by a local woman who worked as a guide at chichen itza- I can only assume she thought as tourists we would like it. This was one of the worst meals we have had in Mexico (in nearly a month). The guacamole was the only reasonable thing- and we sampled a lot of the... More

This was a return visit for us to Valladolid and twice we sat and eat at Las Campanas. The food was very good and the service was polite and attentive for both dinner and lunch. On the corner you feel very much that you are a part of the street scene without actually sitting on the sidewalk.

I had a great time here although they had full house. We ordered a Parillada for 2 and I felt bad for not eating a lot since all the meats were good (local chorizo, flank steak, grilled chicken breast with manchego cheese). They always have live music and that night was like oldies which I loved! The service it was... More

I had a very pleasant evening here eating a drinking a marvellous margarita. There was a band playing - the music was OK and some other guests joined the band and we're singing karaoke style - they were not as good as the band but seemed to be having fun! The food was good and service was also good. I... More

We came here as it's always crowded and has live entertainment. It was really disappointing. The chicken in my taco meal was very dry and tasteless. I couldn't eat it. It was the worst meal I have had in Mexico. The beer was cool but not as cold. The service was really slow. We waited forever to order, and finally... More

We ate here two times, and each time found it very consistent. Good, solid Mexican food. Plenty of vegetarian options, and portions sizes were not outrageously large - just enough to please. Staff were courteous and helpful. We would go back again.

This reliable restaurant is on the plaza; we ate there two or three times. We were in Valladolid during Carnaval (which was on different days in different cities), and this was almost the only restaurant open. We also found it open before 6 pm -- when many places are closed. Though the prices are listed as $$-$$$, we found good... More
