I've always eaten very well at this restaurant. Yesterday, I had the Lion fish with yacca (jackfruit) sauce, cooked by the owner, Tina, herself. It was absolutely delicious! Of course, eating outdoors, facing the Caribbean, made it even more enjoyable.

Mahahual is all about people and a lifestyle that is noted to be the way Mexico used to be like. Well that is true it was suggested by another business owner along the Malecon to try Caballo Blanco. We did and it was a two thumbs up experience. The service was excellent, the burger and by know means is this... More

The Hotel El Caballo Blanco had the best seafood I ate during my trip in Mexico. We ate breakfast there and we were given an assortment of different foods that were all very tasty! Also for lunch a few of us ate the fettuccine alfredo with fresh caught lobster and it was delicious! The owner Tina is a wonderful lady!... More

We are from Texas but have been visiting Mahahual for 15 years. This is the best place to eat in the area. The owner, Tina, will basically make you feel like family. Try the Lionfish or the Quesadillas are the best in the world. Tina is also the Pepsi distributor for the area so it is the only place to... More

We have been traveling to Mahahual annually for about 12 years now. We discovered Tina's restaurant about three years ago, and now eat at least 75% of all of our meals there because of the incredible service and great taste. She has the nature to befriend you while you are visiting, and you then become family.

The owner of the Caballo Blanco hotel, Tina, also manages the restaurant, called Rosy's. There are 4 to 6 tables in the palapa covered front patio of the hotel, which faces the Malecon, looking out over the beach and the Caribbean. My friend Steve and I stopped into Rosy's for dinner, on a very pretty, breezy evening in May. The... More

This restaurant is a quaint patio overlooking the Caribbean. And the food is amazing! We had dinner there, and the owner, Tina Sanchez, made one of my favorite dishes, beef stroganoff. But we we also tried the local fare, lobster tacos and fish, which are the best I have had. All around, this restaurant is truly a find, and it... More

My wife and I have eaten breakfast, lunch and dinner at this owner operated gem in Mahahual. The food is always delicious and prepared with love and care. The owner Tina Sanchez, is often also the chef. She takes pride in her offerings, and the friendly service matches the great tasting food. Caballo Blanco also has a pharmacy on-site, stocked...
