We have eaten at 3 area restaurants here. This one, Turtle Bay and La Buena Vida. All had great food. The only thing here is the menu is limited compared to the other three. I had whole fish, my son had Octopus, my wife the fish fillet other son the Fajitas and my daughter a chicken skewer. All were very... More

After our fishing charter with Akumal Dive Shop, they recommended we take our fish to Pescador's for cooking. The fish was perfectly done - grilled with garlic. Also wicked margaritas. The food was so good we came back the following week for another great meal off their menu. Loved the casual, open air, tropical atmosphere.

We were very hungry after snorkeling for a couple of hours and our guide recommended this place. The ceviche was excellent, could eat a plate of it now! My teenage kids are pescetarians so they had a lot of options for us. Lovely outdoor seating, birds hopping around, cold cervesa - was great!

my daughter and I wanted a nice little meal. This place is a cash only establishment. Most near by restaurants take cards. The menu was big but seemed to only have seafood choices. We were not in the mood.

La Cueva is a pretty quaint place but the food is excellent. Mostly seafood and arrachera and the menu is not big, but the quality of the food is top notch and the wait staff are very friendly. We have eaten there probably 7-8 times over the years and never pass up at least one dinner when we are staying... More

Asked at the dive centre after our dive for recommendation and we were told this place just beyond the arches at entrance to Akumal beach - friendly staff- you get complimentary nachos, margaritas are excellent and food wonderful- loved the tacos and the quesadillas!!

When here for dinner with family and all were please. Server seemed distracted and focused elsewhere. Fish was well prepared, no complaints at the table. Prices are reasonable with many options in the 130-220 peso range/entree.

Their ceviche is very good, but my favorite item is the fish tacos for lunch with a big pitcher of margarita. Nothing better on a hot day in Akumal

Fun place. We went there 3 times as we loved the ceviche and guacamole as well as the mixed seafood plate. Friendly staff.
