Charisma has a very pleasant ambiance, decorated with some of the chef's own artwork, but the reason you will keep coming back is the food. Chef Joseph, although primarily an artist, is reallu one of the best chefs I have ever reviewed. Not only is his food delicious, but Joseph goes out of his way to create delightful dishes to... Joseph created a wonderful experience for us in the courtyard, where we could dine with our small dog. The ambiance cannot be beaten. The food was fabulous. I ordered the filet mignon with garlic mashed potatoes-it was over the top! Don't miss an opportunity to dine here.

This was a lovely restaurant for a birthday dinner. The decor in the dining room gives a warm ambience. White lights camouflaged behind soft fabric, tin star lights hanging through the fabric. The waiter was attentive. There were several specials offered as well as the regular menu. My husband had the filet mignon which he raved about. Sonora is known... More

While in Alamos for a bird-watching tour, our group had a delicious meal at Charisma. Nice decor, very good food, strong margaritas. It was a very enjoyable evening.

Our friend wanted us to have a meal here as she had become friends with Joseph in an art lesson in Italy. What a wonderful experience. The restaurant is beautifully lit with three dimensional metal stars hanging from the ceiling & wonderful pieces of art around. That set the stage for a delicious meal of Filet Mignon & a great... Chef Joe B and staff are just great. Food served as a large banquet so that's very hard to get everything perfect and keep food warm and cold when needed. I thought it was great for an event that was not an individual..meal.

The food was delicious and the service was great! We ordered coconut shrimp for our appetizer and had filet mignon for our main course.

This restaurant and bar have very good drinks and food and as such it has become a favorite of American ex-pats. The filet mignon was perfectly cooked to my liking, tender and tasty. Sonora is known for it beef.

Spent our 25th anniversary dinner here. The salads were superb, with dates, goat cheese, etc. Coconut shrimp was very good but should have been more than 4 for the price charged. The shrimp fettuccine was good, but there could have been less oil on the plate when served. It was drenched.

The cozy bar with booths and Mexican decor offers full meal service. Or you may choose to dine the the elegant dining room with fireplace atmosphere. Be sure to try the paper wrapped salmon..........
