Can't beat the view especially at sunset. We definitely timed it right. The lobster...we've had better. The lobster wasn't bad per se, it was just made for a novice. I'm sure they get bus loads of newbies. They pre-cut a lot of the shell, which...More

Lovely welcoming staff. Knowledgeable on the menu - couldn't help enough. Food was served promptly too. Fantastic food, we had lobster (which I was able to choose too) and fish. Great view. I would highly recommend.

This restaurant, right next to our motel (St Ann's) was a real find! We had both lunch and dinner here. Our table overlooked the lake with fabulous views. Excellent and attentive service both times. We had the seafood chowder (the best I had in Nova...More

On a trip around the east side of the trail I had a craving for mussels. What better a place to have mussels than a restaurant which overlooks one of the largest mussel aquaculture sites on the globe? Well...not this one....or at least not on...More

I had lunch here recently on a picture perfect afternoon and was lucky to get a seat outside on the small deck overlooking the water and surrounding hills. The view alone was worth the visit to this restaurant but the fish and chips were also...More

Eat lobster four times a year, all in Nova Scotia, and the best is always here. You can go out back to pick your own and whatever size you pick it will be expertly cooked. Always sweet and fresh. My wife had halibut which she...More

This was a spur of the moment stop after driving along the Cabot Trail all day, and we were really surprised at the quality of food, which was incredibly tasty. If you're lucky enough to get a table by the waterfront the view is beautiful.

Hello there. I have a rather strange request. A friend of mine and his buddies were hunting on Hunters Mountain and decided to come down from the mountain for supplies. While there, he stopped at a restaurant for some chowder. We believe it was your restaurant although we are not 100 % sure. They were 'rugged mountain men' in an old army jeep with moose horns attached to the front grill. While there, they were asked if they would pose with some Sou' Westers that a lady went and got for them to wear. They held their guns, topped with the sou westers and the old army jeep. Quite a picture for sure, lol. The men were told that these pictures would go in the restaurant or be made into postcards. We are uncertain of the year, but possibly it would have been mid September of 2012 or 2013. Would you or any of your wait staff happen to remember this? The reason I have this request, is one of those men passed on Friday, May 1, 2015 and we would love to get a copy of the pictures that were taken. Any help would be greatly appreciated and a copy of the pictures would be a treasure. Thanks so much for you time in this matter. My home phone is 902-875-1268 and ask for Shelley or Todd. Thanks again.
