With few dining options during off season we enjoyed our breakfast daily and one of three evenings dining on premises for dinner.

My husband and I just spent a night at Fishers. Beautiful setting, lovely accommodations, and one of the best meals we have ever had in a restaurant. All courses were simply prepared but quite flavorful. The cod was fresh, cooked perfect and served with a simple browned butter. Being from NL, we have had cod a thousand different ways, but... Our accommodations were in the Fisher's Loft beside this restaurant. Dinner is by reservation only with a set menu which varies according to availability of fresh vegetables from the greenhouse and garden, fish and seafood in season. Our 4-course dinner started with a tiny salmon cake with sauce, followed by sweet potato soup, and a mixture of salad greens. The... More

Dinner was fantastic, sitting outside and enjoying a cocktail on the deck at sunset was one of the most peaceful times on our trip. Could have spent all night curled up under the blankets.

It was our third visit to the Fishers' Loft, but this one was very strange. We were not staying at the Inn on this trip, so I called ahead and reserved a table. When we arrived, I let someone know and we were shown to a table. Shortly afterwards another couple showed, who apparently had requested the table we had... More

We recently ate dinner at Fisher's Loft for a birthday celebration and were treated exceptionally well. The menu is set each evening with two choices for the main course so be sure to ask the day before what the choices are - so that you can make the appropriate selection. Food is fresh and served very efficiently - with two... More

The set menu allows one to have a 4 course meal that is appropriately matched. The view is wonderful while you dine. To accommodate the nearby theatres Fishers' Loft has two sittings to allow for a leisurely meal. The food was presented nicely.

We ( four couples) spent three days at this inn on the suggestion of one of our friends from St. John's. We are so grateful for that idea. The people are genuinely friendly , service is top notch , rooms are quaint and comfortable and the breakfast and dinner are absolutely outstanding.....you just will not do better in the Trinity... The food here is devine. I had a fish dish and hubby had the beef. We had a soup and salad to start and finished with a scrumptious lemon dessert. Every bite was perfect .

A lovely dining experience. Dining rooms with a scenic view over the water. The menu changes daily with 3 entree choices. The prix fixe menu included home made rolls, appetizer, main, dessert, tea & coffee. All menu items were local and thus very fresh. A fine dining experience.
