While the decor is very dated and the room temperature was on the cold side, we quickly forgot all of that as soon as we started to eat our meal of Lobster Roll. If only I could remember the name of our server! She, along with the wonderful food, were what made our dining experience her exceptional. Arrived at 7:20p due to unanticipated long drive from Bar Harbor,ME. Asked if we had a reservation. No, we didn't, but restaurant was not at all crowded. Manager?/host says, "We're closed. The Boathouse is open." Not 'I'm sorry' or 'Please come back tomorrow .' Obviously doesn't care. We are enjoying friendly service and good food at Alma's Boathouse right now.
