This facility caters to young ones and feels more like a club. Seats and tables are too close but remains a favourite of young ones or those who appreciate the club like environment. There is often a door fee to be followed by expensive drinks and food

What an awesome experience! Great location, the character in the building was amazing, the staff was awesome and we're still talking about the fabulous meals! The fish and chips were stellar...and the hot dog toppings change weekly! This is no ordinary hot dog....it's on a fresh locally made bun with Bothwell cheese, an Old Country weiner and the most incredible... More

Had been eyeing this new spot on Centre Street in Gimli all summer long. Finally got there this weekend. A very pleasant experience. Service was great, food was sensational (we had the pickerel tacos) and to top it off, the Bombers were playing on the big screen tv. We have a summer place nearby so will be visiting frequently.

I've been up to Gimli a few times and The Ship and Plough is always great. Good staff. Awesome food. Seriously - try the baked brie. Delicious. And some nights they have live music which really sets the atmosphere. Don't pass this place up. Fantastic place for a few drinks, some good eats, and conversation.

Great little place not far from Harbour. We attended quiz night, great idea to get crowd up and having fun. Everything on the menu was locally grown/raised.

Very unique place. Awesome pub decor. Great food. We came just for supper. But would love to return again for the evening entertainment. Also great music not just the regular radio repeats.

My husband and I really enjoy the Ship & Plough for the great food, refreshments and atmosphere! I especially like the Caesars and nachos. The ribs and butter chicken are excellent too. Actually everything we've had has been great. It's the place to be in Gimli on the weekends to enjoy live entertainment.

Had the chance to cheer on Iceland with the locals during the Euro cup 2016. Great vibe with the festive locals dressed up with flags in hand, we just so happened to pop in. The food was a great local twist to pub fare with creative recipes and decent prices. The pub had a traditional and cozy feel to it... More
