Great food, great staff, great location, and finally great history. Loved it. Situated above the ocean right in the harbor of this historic old dockside town. Will Love to return over and over.

Had to watch it and not taste too quickly. Can't be discerning when drinking it by the pint just to quench one's thirst!

nice pub with good beers and a great deck outside overlooking the bay and marina. Wonderful place for a drink after a Grizzly Bear tour or Kayaking

Enjoyed a very tasty meal in a booth iverlooking the marina. Impressed with the food and service (I never have high expectations in small communities) but was nicely surprised :)

We drove up to Telegraph Cove for lunch. Had the chowder and were not disappointed. Served with pita. Outstanding quality and lovely charm. Beautiful stained glass on entry doors.

There aren't many places to eat in Telegraph Cove. From what i could tell the Old Saltery Pub and The Killer Whale Cafe have the same menu anyway. They are next door on the boardwalk with an outdoor balcony overlooking the marina - a really nice spot on a sunny day for a few beers and a hearty lunch. Our... More

Telegraph Cove is an iconic destination and this "pub" on stilts is at the heart of this historic spot filled with fascinating facts about the colonisation of Vancouver Island, encounters with wildlife and the people who made it all possible. Not what I would call a "pub" as such, more an eatery with a decent range of beers but a... More

We have now visited 3 times, twice after whale watching trips. Our family group ordered a large degree of what was on offer on the menu. Without exception the food was delicious and came in sizeable portions. Service was quick, polite and friendly. The servers had a decent knowledge of what was on the menu, and brought food quickly and... More
