I love this place and always stop in when in grand forks. Very homey. All the food is "homemade".i.e. Made from scratch. Borscht was amazing as always and vegetarian to boot. Perogi are huge- cottage cheese one is the best- don't be afraid of butter and sour cream delicious home, ace bread and butter and delicious deserts. Not many places like... More

We've never experienced traditional Doukhobour food before, but we certainly enjoyed it. We had the borscht which was cabbage based, not beet as I've had before. Very delicious. Then we had Pyrahi, which was shaped into a heart for Valentines Day. I chose the beet filling, yum! We finished off having the cinnamon buns with our coffee.

Delicious hearty meal and desert. All 4 of us loved it. Was worth the three hour drive. Like giant perogies made right then and now.!!!!!!!!!

Excellent doukhobor Russian food. Love the pyrahi especially the cottage cheese ones and the bean. Everything is made from scratch which takes extra time but worth the wait. No deep fried options which I consider a plus. Also their borscht is best you will find in town.

We ordered the borsch and piroshki with pumpkin filling. This is our first experience with Doukhobour foods. It was interesting but personally, plain in flavor. Although I can't compare our meal to any other Doukhobour... More

This Russian specialty spot is obviously a local and tourist favorite for their Russian-Ukrainian dishes as they offered a wide selection of special dishes. Olga our server was very patient and walked us through the various items on offer. I finally opted for the lunch special which was two large stuffed boiled dumplings and a good sized bowl of borscht... More
