Moxie is a simple, run of the mill, espresso joint. Local kids run the store and serve up a variety of java centric beverages along with a few pastries and bagels. It's friendly, simple, and easy going. Nothing worth recommending or to steer you away. If you need your fix, this is as good a place as any.

Not a long line, staff are super nice. Lots of choices, even gluten free and vegan. Every thing was cleaned

I had just finished the Fargo mini marathon and I was craving a latte. Moxie Java was just round the corner from where I was parked so I decided to give a try. The wall menu didn't show all the choices and prices. I order a medium latte and paid over $4 dollars. I thought for ND that was a... More

This is very near the Radisson and open early. I walked over and got myself a coffee and caramel bun. The coffee was excellent. The bun, which the clerk raved about, was stale, hard and the sauce had crystalized. I had pointed to one in the case, but he handed me one in a box, all bagged up. Was it... More

Movie Java has great regular coffee and a hip atmosphere. However I don't typically drink lattees or other fancy drinks, so I cannot comment on their quality.

Slow service, since each is made by hand, but only one guy on staff. Coffee itself wasnt bad, but wasnt worth the cost. A bit less rich than I would have liked.

While it is not my favorite coffee shop in town, I do find myself stopping in from time to time to purchase one of thier great selection of coffees. While their coffee isn't the best I have tasted, it is still good and I really can't complain. The thing that makes this coffee shop stand out is that it makes... More

Fun little place to hang out with friends and sip something warm in the winter (or cool in the summer). Totally a Fargo-Moorhead vibe, comfortable chairs and quiet atmosphere.

Fun, relaxing atmosphere, tends to attract younger population, friendly, limited sandwiches or sweets but the coffee drinks are excellent. Hard to explain but just a pleasant place and a favorite meeting place for younger locals.

Owner loves her employees so much, she puts large, framed pictures of them up on her wall each year; the love shows, as the entire staff is earnest and eager to please. Great coffee... fresh, robust and earthy. Simply a wonderful place (NOTE: I also made a donation to Carson Glore (www.carsonglore.com) through its big supporter, Moxie Java. Carson Glore... More
