Very quaint shop, in fact it's like being in a totally different country where no one speaks English. You have all the smells of the open markets of Somalia, and the rudeness of Iraq. So if you're looking for a foreign country experience without leaving the United States, this is a place for you. However, if you're accustomed to customer... More

On a recent trip through Dickenson, ND we decided to try the Dairy Barn. Located on the main thoroughfare the building looks like an old Dairy Queen building (not sure if it is). Thoughts of Mr. Mistys and Dilly Bars filled my mind. This time however I was in the mood for some blazer sit down food. The outside sign... More

This is a regular part of our Saturday shopping routine. First to the mall, then to the grocery, and a swing through the drive through with its maddening wrong-way window (not so bad if you have a passenger in the car). But even if you have to get out of your car to collect your bag of food, it's worth... More

Offers a drive thru service on PASSENGER side of car? Breakfast burritos are delicious and very filling (large) Everything made in front of you as you waited. Offer terrific BBQ sandwiches, will remind you of home.

We wanted some ice cream, so I searched Yelp for Ice Cream places in Dickinson. The reviews for Dairy Barn were terrible, but we decided to give it a chance anyway, hoping that the reviewers were just rare unhappy customers. THE BAD REVIEWS WERE ALL CORRECT. We should have listened to Yelp. I am posting the same review here on... More

This used to be my favorite burger stop on my trip west. I haven't been here in three years...and sadly...I won't be back. What happened to the meat in the burgers?? It tasted so "processed" and "filled" it was barely edible. I'll miss you Dickinson, but I will be driving further west before my next lunch stop.

Nothing says lower quality like eating of Styrofoam plates. Nothing stays warm long enough to finish. My husband I both ordered 2 eggs and toast, the same way. His were over cooked. A side order of Hash Browns were large enough to share. The toast was too cold to melt the butter. Oh, well. There was Real Sweet Tea, a... More

The food is average but the ice cream is very good. I love the shakes! Prices are a little high. If you are using the drive thru, it is tricky. You pick up your order on the passenger side. Will be back only for sweet treats not food.

Most people rave about the bbq's. For me its all about the sausage egg and cheese breakfast sandwiches. You will not be able to eat a egg mcmuffin after eating at dary barn. The carmel rolls are amazing. You have to get there early to get a carmel roll.

We have only eaten here once. The food is okay although I think it's a little overpriced. The ice cream is good though. I would come here again but only for dessert or a shake.
