An unpretentious colonial era tavern serving American fare in a preserved rustic setting. Multiple tavern rooms serve as separate dining rooms. Nice classic food choices and a great place to escape from the summer heat.

This charming tavern was like a step back in time! It was like eating inside an old home - wooden floors and tables. The food was fabulous. I had the tomato blue cheese bisque and flounder stuffed with crab and peppers. It was drizzled with...More

We really enjoyed eating here as it was basically a continuation of the tour. I probably would not have eaten here if we had not been on the tour of old Salem. The sever was dressed as a early 20th century Moravian which was great....More

Often farm to table options from the local Saturday Cobblestone Market. Sit outside on the porch with shady spots to enjoy in pretty weather.

I have been going here for years. This time was with a ladies group from church. They handled our group well and there were plenty of menu options for everyone to have something they liked. Desserts were amazing.
